The average numbers of sales of Single Family homes in Fairfield County during July were down about 13% compared to July’07. However, that is an improvement over previous months when sales were down on average of about 35%. Sales generally indicate the level activity in the market over the past 60 days. The concern over higher interest rates seems to have brought out buyers, those who were sitting on the fence during the spring.
